ACE Certification Translates to Distinct Business Advantage for our GTM clients
Westfield, N.J. -- April 6, 2009 -- QuestaWeb, Inc., Web-based integrated global trade management solutions,
announced its certification on the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Interface by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP). QuestaWeb is the 1st vendor to obtain ACE such certification.
The certification means that only customs brokers and importers using TradeMasterQW software can currently benefit from the enhancements the new compliance system brings. An innovative process to query and electronically override Census warnings virtually eliminates the need for the exchange of paper documentation. A new entry summary status notification keeps importers advised of CBP actions on an ongoing basis. ACE permits two-way communication between the filer and CBP, allowing importers to automatically query key databases and files.
