Customs Certifies QuestaWeb Automated Manifest

QuestaWeb, a provider of Web-based management solutions for international trade and logistics, has received US Customs certification of its Automated Manifest Support (AMS) software module for ocean carriers and NVOCCs. AMS is a cargo inventory and release system that interacts with US Customs' automated systems and provides advanced electronic filing of manifests prior to containers being loaded on US-bound vessels at foreign ports.
 
AMS will enable QuestaWeb customers to comply with US Customs' 24-Hour Rule and other government regulations coming into effect. It has multi-lingual capabilities and facilitates the flow of cargo for both carriers and Customs by eliminating the paper manifest and decreasing the number of discrepancy reports and in-bond paper documents.
