Certified Integration Translates to Reduced Time and Cost to Implement Premier, Web-Based GTM System
Westfield, N.J. -- September 17, 2009 -- QuestaWeb, Inc. (www.questaweb.com), a premier provider of Web-based integrated Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions, today announced
that its Global Trade Management 4.2.26 solution is certified for integration with the SAP® ERP application. QuestaWeb made the announcement just prior to the start of the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones’ 37th Annual Seminar/Conference & Exposition, where QuestaWeb will exhibit at Booth 14 in the Crystal Ballroom of the InterContinental Dallas Hotel in Addison, Texas.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center granted the certification after subjecting QuestaWeb’s Global Trade Management 4.2.26 software to the SAP integration scenario titled “Integration Assessment Based Certification.” The certified functions include: download Material Master lists and details, Vendor Master lists and details, Commercial Invoice lists and details and Purchase Order lists and details. The solution also qualified as “SAP Solution Manager Ready.” Thus, when Global Trade Management is in a customer’s system landscape, the application configuration and log files are displayed in the SAP Solution Manager application management solution, which eases system landscape support and optimization.
QuestaWeb’s revolutionary suite of multi-national trade solutions, known as Global Trade Management 4.2.26, leverages advanced technologies to deliver measurable business results. The software streamlines cross-border trade processes by combining transactions with rich content, helping all supply chain parties to work together seamlessly to move goods worldwide in a rapid, secure and compliant manner. The suite, which offers a modular design, promotes collaboration among exporters, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, agents, financial institutions and importers. Further, it leverages the power and accessibility of the Internet in firms’ global trade activities.
Wayne Slossberg, Vice President of QuestaWeb, says, “SAP offers one of the leading ERP applications worldwide. From a strategic point of view, it was logical for QuestaWeb to undergo the certification process and align the top ERP application with the foremost Web-based GTM system. Achieving this certification underscores QuestaWeb’s ongoing commitment to develop and offer advanced solutions that not only solve customers’ global trade management issues but also reduce their implementation time and costs. Being able to offer our customers an out-of-the-box integration between their SAP ERP application and Global Trade Management will reduce their total cost of ownership.”
