The clearance of imported cargo can be postponed until the cargo reaches
another customs point than a port of unlading. Customs brokers, freight
forwarders, trucking companies, railroads, importers, foreign trade zones (FTZ)
can benefit from the electronic InBond program to expedite
in-bond requests, arrive in-bonds, and report in-bond cargo exports.
CBP accepts electronic CF-7512s for ocean, truck, and rail in-bond movements.
